We had a fantastic stay at Thaphae Garden Guesthouse. The location was perfect, close to the city center and night market. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool, even though it was a bit chilly at first. The staff were very helpful in arranging our tours and activities. we would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Just no where to sunbath but u can go to the park so not that bad

Centrally located. We could visit most of the sites in Chiang Mai by foot or Tuk Tuk. The room was clean and the hotel seemed new. Good choice of breakfast too at reasonable prices.

We stayed 3 nights in a fan-room on the 3rd (top) floor. Even though it was getting cool in the evening outside, the room stayed hot and little possibility to ventilate. The rooms are also cleaned only after staying for more than 3 nights and if you want your room cleaned daily, they charge 10% more. The hotel has a pool but we've never seen any of the guests using it because the water was too cold and the location (just in front of the reception and next to the street) was not a relaxed setting. The hotel staff was friendly but reception hours were between 8am and 8pm. Therefore it was not possible to get something out of the safe in the evening which can be quite uncomfortable. When we asked for directions in the city to go to a tailor, they were pushy to go to "their" tailor (to get a commission...). When we booked our transport to Pai with them, the pickup service came one hour late and little was done to overcome this.

Gh is located perfectly - just few minutes walk to the gates and to night bazar. It offers some services I.E. renting a bike (ok), some tours (a bit more expensive than from the agents in the city). Lastly it is reasonably cheap comparing to other offers on the website.

They could improve cleanliness of the room - we stayed 4 days and the room was not cleaned during that period. Staff is overall helpful but it also depends who do you speak to,
